Towsontown Spring Festival
First Time at Towsontown Festival for Oh! Said Rose
Featuring New Exclusive Designs by Baltimore’s Edye Sanford

At the 40th annual Towsontown Festival, May 5 and 6, Hampden boutique Oh! Said Rose will debut new styles from Designs from the Edge, by local designer Edye Sanford.

This spring, the line heads in a new direction, with mod dresses, cropped baby doll tanks and a wide array of skirts, all in light, summery Pima cotton.

Fresh new patterns transform the line, including fiery tattoo imagery, big-eyed kittens, geometric shapes, and Mexican-influenced loteria and sugar skulls. With the increased popularity of skulls this season, Sanford adds her own flare by introducing a new turquoise sugar skulls pattern. The line is festive and colorful and puts a summer twist on this fashion favorite.

Styles and fabrics can be mixed and matched for a unique look, and three new styles will kick it off at the Towsontown Festival:

The In Crowd wrap skirt – Andy Warhol-inspired cubic pattern with chic faces and bold colors. Juicy mod dresses – Twiggy-style tank dresses in bright, fruity summer hues. Smitten Kitten Malinda skirt – a pleated skirt with side tie that provides the right amount of float.

Special for the festival are matching styles for children and tweens.

Sanford also introduces two new bags to join her popular cocktail bags. The pleated bag is big enough to carry all the basics, and the larger over-the-shoulder Valerie bag is perfect to tote books or beach gear.
Edye Sanford’s designs are available exclusively at Oh! Said Rose, online at www.ohsaidrose.com, and at the Towsontown Festival.
